Welcome!

Welcome to Learn2beGlobal at Michigan State University! We are glad you are here.

The examples above represent a small sample of the types of conversations we have been having over the past 18-months with small and medium sized businesses across the United States.

Resoundingly we heard the following:

“I know that there are resources out there to assist me as I look to take my organization global, but what I would really like is to have someone who can help me sort this out and who I can talk to along the way.”

Sounds like a reasonable request. In fact, a number of government and private agencies exist to assist you as you look to export to foreign markets and build your international business.

The twist with Learn2beGlobal is that we want to begin by emphasizing the importance of understanding what we call – Cross Cultural Competency. We want to increase your familiarity with the cultural components in the regions of the world where you will be engaging so that you will be more effective and comfortable in conducting international business, living and traveling in a global world.
